Assistant digital marketing coordinator

  • JOB DESCRIPTION

    Job Type: Part-time


    The assistant digital marketing coordinator will help create, review and implement a strategic plan to grow the Dogleg Brewing Company brand and community. Primary responsibilities include content creation and management of all digital channels. The ideal candidate will be innovative and eager to develop new ideas while collaborating with the tasting room, sales, marketing and brewing team.


    Responsibilities Include:


    • Amplifying the Dogleg Brewing Company mission and culture to new and existing customers.
    • Embodying the Dogleg Brewing Company brand via content, advertising, events and promotions.
    • Managing and updating content of the website, Google Business, Yelp, Shopify, TripleSeat and Dogleg App (Tapwyse), etc.
    • Assisting with the design and execution of social media posts and campaigns
    • Working with the creative team to curate unique content and build brand ambassador relationships as well as other important partnerships
    • Oversee Shopify account and ensure inventory and products are up to date.
    • Working with the tasting room manager to develop on-brand events
    • Developing new marketing initiatives to build the Dogleg Brand.
    • Use tools such as Google analytics to review metrics and report effectiveness of marketing campaigns to the leadership team
    • Assist with other creative initiatives to drive sales
    • Abide by brand guidebook and ensure consistency across all media and messaging

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
    • Proficiency and understanding of the game of golf.
    • 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. Experience in craft beer, golf and/or hospitality preferred.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and their respective audiences.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging digital marketing content.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

    Skills


    • Experience with digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
    • Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Knowledge of event marketing/coordinating tools such as TripleSeat

    Desired:


    • Experience in creating and marketing events


    Pay: $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)



    Expected hours: Starting at 10 – 20 per week



    Schedule: Flexible

BEERTENDER

  • JOB DESCRIPTION

    Are you passionate about golf? Are you a craft beer aficionado? We are looking for an enthusiastic beertender with a knowledge of craft beer and love for golf to join our growing staff. Dogleg Brewing Company beertenders have an extremely important role as the frontlines of our brand, tasting room and beer. Therefore, beertender applicants should be knowledgeable about the brewing process and beer styles, as well as understand the game and culture of golf. Beertenders will have opportunities to work both the tasting room and off-site events.


    Summary: 


    Beertenders facilitate visitor enjoyment by performing a variety of customer service duties  including, but not limited to, greeting and serving customers, providing education about our beer styles and the brewing process as well as services we offer. Beertenders are responsible for stocking the bar, serving beverages, managing the golf simulator, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the tasting room facilities.  Beertenders report directly to the tasting room manager.


    Roles and Responsibilities:


    • Understand and exemplify the mission and culture of Dogleg Brewing Company. Represent Dogleg Brewing Company as a brand ambassador  
    • Provide excellent customer service to visitors.
    • Interact with visitors to provide a memorable experience. Answer questions and educate guests about Dogleg Brewing Company, our beers and other products, the differences between beer styles as well as the history and culture around Dogleg Brewing Company and craft beer. 
    • Educate customers on how to sample beer. (Color, Clarity, carbonation, head retention,  aroma, mouthfeel/body, flavors, finish)•Promote other items we offer for sale.
    • Promote Dogleg Brewing Company events and specials.  
    • Complete all paperwork involved to day-to-day operations (inventory sheets, gift  certificate sheets, keg order forms, incident reports etc.)  
    • Compile daily receipts and other paperwork per company procedure for processing.  
    • Maintain comfort & cleanliness throughout the tasting room, storage areas, cooler, office, and restrooms.  
    • Report all equipment problems, bar maintenance issues, violations or substandard  practices to your manager immediately upon encountering a problem.  
    • Attend staff meetings, events and other functions required.  
    • Assist with inventory procedures. Alert tasting room manager about shortages or  discrepancies.  
    • Manage all sales transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with  intoxicated guests.  
    • Keep abreast of policies and procedures and current developments in local, state, and  federal laws applicable to the service of alcohol, safe food handling, health standards  etc.  

    Qualifications:


    • Applicant must be of legal drinking age (21 years or older)
    • Must provide certificate of training on alcohol service from the ABC (RBS) prior to being scheduled and/or employed at Dogleg Brewing Company
    • Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays. Prior work experience with a brewery, and/or golf industry is a plus.
    • Cicerone Certified Beer Server Certificate not required, but a plus
    • Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for up to 8 hours per shift
    • Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
    • Competence & understanding of the game of golf
    •  Excellent customer service skills and a Positive attitude are required
    • Ability to read and write in English proficiently
    • Must have basic math skills and be able to use a calculator
